My favorite game for the original Nintendo system is Tecmo Super Bowl. I loved Tecmo Bowl, but Tecmo Super Bowl is the greatest football game of all time, IMO. It was the first football game that had NFL teams (players were in Tecmo Bowl but not the teams) AND it had a season mode. I can remember going 10-6 (lost in the first round of the playoffs 34-0 only because my dad decided to play it), 12-4 (lost in the semis), 13-3 (lost to my sister in the Super Bowl. I'll discuss later), 16-0 and 16-0, winning the Super Bowl both times. I always played with the Raiders. As for me losing to my sister, that was the first and only time we met in the Super Bowl. She won three Superbowls in a row with the Giants. Never had less than 12 wins those three seasons. She didn't play (coach) the times I won. Oh, and I probably beat her once or twice when we did an exibition game.
Of course, like everyone knows, the game started messing up and the quick fix routine (blowing into it) wasn't working anymore. Soon afterwards, I got a Genenis and the Playstation came out and I gave my nintendo away. Sad day for me. But I found out a way to play Nintendo games again and one of the first games I played was Tecmo Super Bowl. Unfortunally, I lost a game though.
Now, I have to try to do this
